Post Card From Hong Kong

Back from a long hiatus. How better to get things rolling than with a little poem! Hong Kong is a beautiful, bustling city.

Cold weather with generous sprinkling of air pollution, fog, humidity, wind and busy bankers can do funny things to people.

Fog of misery invades the winter

Swift and cruel like Genghis

Silvery seas crushed under

Birds aghast left the skies

Salaried souls in designer suits

Among flowers with crumpled hearts

With dreams in pursuit

Defiantly adorn the streets
